Visit counts without a cookie
With analytics consent we also use Vercel Web Analytics, which is served from our own domain and sets no cookie at all. It counts page views and the clicks we name (for example "Start with an audit") using a hashed, non-reversible visitor signature that resets daily. Without consent its script loads but sends nothing; every event is checked against your choice before it leaves the browser.
What "marketing" means here
There is no marketing cookie. Marketing consent is a flag stored inside fp_consent. When it is on, our server may tell an advertising platform that a form was submitted, so people who already contacted us stop seeing our ads. When it is off, nothing is sent. Either way, no advertising script runs in your browser.
How the choice works
- The banner offers Accept all, Reject all, and Manage, with equal weight. Reject is one click.
- Nothing but the essential cookie is set until you choose.
- Our server checks the consent cookie before it records anything. The browser does not get to decide on its own.
- Change your mind any time: (also in the footer of every page).
Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you delete fp_consent, the banner will ask again. The site works with all cookies blocked; the contact form needs Cloudflare Turnstile, which may need its session cookie.
